This is the artwork and layout for Canberra's Pod People third album 'Oblivion'. Continuing on with the Devine Comedy theme this cover is based on the Paradiso section after Inferno and Purgatory where Beatrice guides Dante through the celestial spheres of Heaven to they reach the Empyrean. The artwork was inspired by the work of Gustave Dore's Illustrations of Dante's Inferno and uses a graphic overlay represent the woodblock printing style of Dore's printed designs. The Oblivion record will be release in Europe on Black Farm records and pressed locally in Australia by the band.
