Tranquilistics – Grand Illusions – Music Video
This is the video clip to one of my new Tranquilistics songs “Grand Illusions”. It was put together in Apple Motion and Final Cut Pro. It is really a study into motion graphics and some of the new features in the FCP suite. This clip is a psychedelic as I can make it and uses a lot of graphics produced for this project. While there are still some areas I would refine and change- I have stop being so critical so things see the light of day. The song is 4:48 and has about 7500 frames of animation and took several months to complete amongst other projects and work. Final folder for this clip work was 158 gigabytes.

Didn’t realise how long you were working on this for. Was wondering what the name Tranquilistics was all about. Turned out well I thought although I’ll have to view it again on a machine that was made in this decade. PowerPC sucks.
I’m assuming this wasn’t stored on your hard-drive when it died last year, but how on earth did you store 156GB with backups?
Hey Paul, yeah took a while to finish. The whole project folder is huge, many variations and versions as I went along, each render was 8 bit uncompressed so it builds up quick. Final file is about 6.5 gig. Will back up to a removable hard drive then on the shelf. I didn’t lose any creative stuff with the crash just teaching and demo stuff. cheers mate
Well it is quite sleepy so thumbs up. If you ever need crazy chick vocals let me know. I won’t be as good as that chick from the jar of kingdom Album that you and Ads got but I will do my best. You need to incorperate Suzie doing some belly dancing with a hibjab so no one will ever no its………………. me doing the belly dancing LOL keep it up you should cheak out willow people my sideproject it makes me laugh so hard i just can’t take it serious chat soon. P.s More weird and strange the music is the better I sleep lurve sleepy music mwah
